Oh hate to be a killjoy but you also have to consider that you need a T5 with a torque arm mount provision. And that will rule out Corvettes and only leave F bodies (Camaro and Firebirds).

You could actually put in any trans you want (one that bolts up to the engine that is) as long as youuse a remote torque arm mount.

And since it went from an automatic swap to just replacing the manual the OP might not of wanted the extra work and cost so I just wanted to remind the person of the mount so there are no surprises while installing.
