RE: a lil backwards
Or for $16 over the painintheazz kit you can get one that is adjustable.

Summit has the instructions to many of thier items they sell in PDF on each products page so you can read up on them. It may help you to decide what you might want.

RE: a lil backwards
ok thx now if i decide to go ahead and stay with the manual cause it looks like a change over is gonna cost me a lil more than i can afford right now and i think i can get my hands on another t5 what kinda power will it hold just wondering cause i am about to start doin a build on a vortec 350 and i want to make sure i can get the power to the ground another choice i might have that i am waithin to hear from is a muncie 4 speed which i am really leaning towards cause i know it will hold up to about anything i could throw at it as a daily driver but then i have to look at how to get the torque arm to mount to that also

RE: a lil backwards
Yes, a Muncie will take a helluva lot more than a T5 can. The one drawback is you'll lose your overdrive gear. And the muncie does shift a bitmore klunkier than the T5 does. To use any type of trans without the torque arm provisions, you'll need a relocation mount like this one. But it's a better set-up thanfactoryanyway. http://www.lmperformance.com/16387/7.html

RE: a lil backwards
Good Lord I am out of breath from reading that run on post.
Here are a few of these for ya to use next time. Don't be afriad to use them, they're free.
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
88 and later T-5s' were the best. They were said to handle 375 ftlbs of torque. And that could be a conservative figure.
I found some more laying around for you
