ok thx now if i decide to go ahead and stay with the manual cause it looks like a change over is gonna cost me a lil more than i can afford right now and i think i can get my hands on another t5 what kinda power will it hold just wondering cause i am about to start doin a build on a vortec 350 and i want to make sure i can get the power to the ground another choice i might have that i am waithin to hear from is a muncie 4 speed which i am really leaning towards cause i know it will hold up to about anything i could throw at it as a daily driver but then i have to look at how to get the torque arm to mount to that also

Yes, a Muncie will take a helluva lot more than a T5 can. The one drawback is you'll lose your overdrive gear. And the muncie does shift a bitmore klunkier than the T5 does. To use any type of trans without the torque arm provisions, you'll need a relocation mount like this one. But it's a better set-up thanfactoryanyway. http://www.lmperformance.com/16387/7.html

88 and later T-5s' were the best. They were said to handle 375 ftlbs of torque. And that could be a conservative figure.

lol sorry bout that . well with what i am planning then another t 5 will work but i am still likeing the muncie option. i will know in a few days what my exact options are, hey look that button does do something...................................

ya thats about right. well i looked at the cross member ya showed me to and i got a guy who might be able to make me one so i amm gonna see how tht goes and go from there
