Back when I had my Bonneville, I had the steering wheel controls, which I LOVED. Now that I've got my 99 Camaro, I really miss them. I've found that 2000+ Camaro's had it as an option, and of course I've located a 2000 steering wheel with controls, but also a different air bag. My question is:
Will a 2000+ Airbag work in a 1999 Camaro?
I would also need to know if I will have to wire anything, which I assume will. Doing this kind of scares me, as I have a friend who was driving down the road, and his air bag suddenly went off. Luckily, I think he just veered off the road into a field after the airbag knocked him out and bruised up his arms real bad. So, needless to say, I'd rather not have an unexpected airbag deployment.
