i have my iroc and am waiting to get my motor swap but last week the ignition switch went out replaced it last night started to drive it today and noticed that my alternator is not charging my battery i have the alternator checked placed at 2 different places what else could it be

 

What is the voltmeter showing when engine is running??

 

check the wire that come from the post in the back. it should go to the dist. block mounted to next to the headlights. also check the plug that holds the excitor wire is not broken and connected snugly.
