Default running an amp power cable to battery?

how do i run the amp power cable to the battery in my 1995 camaro z28? i thought it should be easy enough, but i can't seem to figure out how or where to run in through. any help? and also, where would be a good place in the back to ground it?

Well you can drill a hole on the passenger side and use a gromet to protect the wire. Or there is a big gromet already on that side that the ECU wires run into the cab. If you cut a small hole in the side of that, you can stick the wire in and it will seal up around that. Push it through and then run it under the carpet to the back. I've always found it helpful to use a small piece of hanger and tape it to the wire, then run that through the hole and pull it from the other side. There's a few bolts back there you can use to ground, just got to pull the panels off.

Yea, for the longest time I had mine just grounded via the spare tire mount LOL..but now it's bolted to the seat belt winder upper thing..and as for the wiring I just have mine run under the screw on floor panels around the door then in the crack between the seat and paneling, then i flipped the seat down and ran it up behind that (my amp sits on the top part of the cargo hatch) or you could run it up under the panel to get to the security sensitivity deal/spare tire, but i think you might have a bit showing..but that how I have it if that helps at all haha.

Thanks guys. I think i'm going to try that out just to get the subs up and running. If not, i'll go ahead and just pay the $60 to get it professionally done.
