i am taking it to another guy tomorrow.
I think I will take the advice to leave the emissions on.

I dont have the money or the space right now but i would like to start over with a clean uni-body frame and eventually sell this camaro. otherwise i would replace the engine with a larger one.

honestly 92rally, my best advice to you would be to buy a chiltons book or similar for your camaro, and learn how to do the small things for yourself such as a tuneup or brakes. overtime you will become more comfortable in your skills and be able to tackle bigger jobs. in the long run you can save yourself alot of money and aggrivation dealing with overpriced or underskilled mechanics.
