i bought a eldebrock intake for my 305, it was origionaly on a 69 firebird. the firebird had a 350, i dont think stock. i bought new intake gaskets for the motor and not the intake, the line up right but he egr is an a slightly different place. are 350 and 305 pretty similar? the intake looks like new and i only paid $20 for it so i didnt really lose out.

 

Should be exactly the same as long as the intake bolts line up. The intake would either be set up for the old style heads or the new style heads (vortech).

 

Unless of course he had a Pontiac 350, then nothing will work.
