Well if you wnat to go all around. Hotchkins suspension has the full setup
i think for about 1200 dollars you can replace every last piece and have sub frame connectors. They sell a kit with coils sawy tie rods i mean just everything. Its in the camaro performers magazine page 54 lol. they redid a 83 camaro. hope that helps

My 84 rode like a rock. The RS springs are weak to start with.
My 84 was a Z28 and I added the hotchkis rear control arms and pan hard rod with KYB shocks. Up front had PST poly graphite bushings, greasable urethane sway bar bushings, a huge sway bar (forget the size) from a Trans Am, all new steering and ball joints and KYB struts. And to finish it had Kuhmo high performance summer tires that could have 10lbs of pressure and look like they had 45.

Check your tire pressures too. If they are inflated too high, the tires will have less give (stiff ride), and less grab (slide) in a turn.
