Talking Suspension is almost done

Installed my new Strano specific Bilstein shocks yesterday, those fronts were a lot of fun to do (good thing I had a new can of PB Blaster). Had to chisel the nut off the top bolt to get the springs off the old de crapons. I also put my new front 32mm bar in. Last night I ordered the rest of what I need, energy suspension poly sway bar bushings, and moog LCA bushings. Prior to contrary belief, those expensive poly-ended LCA are NOT worth the money at all (for handling at least). In drag racing, stronger LCA's might be a needed upgrade IF you have the power to require it. But in auto-x, the stock arms with solid rubber bushings is a great affordable upgrade.

My suspension setup now is as follows:

-UMI on car adj. PHB
-Spohn end links
-Strano Specific Bilstein Shocks
-Stock Springs (plenty fine for now, strano springs are in the far future)
-WS6 front 32mm sway bar
-TA 19mm rear bar
and on the way:
-Energy Suspension sway bar bushings
-Moog LCA bushings

Took it up the street and back, and it handles very well. I'll have the front end aligned to these specs in a few weeks to improve handling even more: -.5 camber, 4.5 castor, 0 toe.

For now I just took the old one out, and adjusted the new one until they where the same length (used bolts). I'm taking it to an alignment shop eventually to get is set properly.

I plan on autocrossing it, and driving it a PIR a few times. Maybe I'll go north to Pacific and try out that road coarse :musicman looks at spartan:

We got in an argument about Pacific vs PIR a while back. I'm also going up there for Pinks all out to run the Mustang. (He lives up there)
