Default Suspension Help

Hey guys,

I searched around the forum to no avail on my issue. I wanted to do a street performance suspension type setup on my 97 z28. I wanted it to include everything from torque arms and panhards to LCAs, shocks and springs. i mean i got around 100 to 1200 for this build. Was wondering if anyone had any existing setups or suggestions. I wanted to go bilisteins because my brother just got em and they feel really nice.

Thanks

Strano Springs=$250
Bilstein HD's=$420
LCA's+Panhard=$210
LCA Relocation Brackets=$90
Strut Tower Brace=$130

TOTAL: $1100

That's where I would start. Then move on to torque arm, sway bars, frame connectors, and front a-arms.

Do you want to lower your car? If so, how much?

That is a really good list. And i mean as of now my car just got new C6 Zo6 rims with 265/40/17 in front and 295/35/18 in the rear. So i mean the car has a really mean stance, Im jsut afraid if i lower it maybe an inch or two that i start hitting stuff. And Socom, what do u recommend as far the latter parts u mentioned after that main build.

Also, one more question. I currently have no extensive mods on the motor yet so is the strut bar crucial as of now? if so can someone explain. Also, will it work with an aftermarket SS hood?

Sway Bars =$320
Torque arm w/ relocation=$400
Frame Connectors=$280

And the strut tower brace will clear any hood. I would get it to help tighten steering up, and its the cheapest one.

YES! WS6store.com has the Bilstein HD's for $367, not sure how much shipping costs would be though. 93-02 Bilstein HD Shock Package (Set of 4 | Shocks/Struts | WS6store.com
