The air cleaner would be the only clerance problam with the engine. All you need for a carb set up is 12v. power for the distibutor. The tranny cross member may not fit but there is an up sid to the two piece cross member. It can be modified with some spare plate medal, or angle iron. Me and my dad modefied mine in an 86 I-roc for a th-400. The only other problem you may face is getting the trany in a place without cutting or beating the floor pan plus the drive shaft may need to be modified.

I have a 91z28 and I have a 383 in it. A 383 is a 350 with a stroked crank in it. I installed the Eagle 383 kit. It is awesome and has way more torque than the 350. I have dart race heads and the whole bit too, but I had it all on a 355 first then just went to 383 and there was a huge difference. It's worth it. Just be sure to upgrade your tranny and rear end. I did my tranny and broke the rear-end.

well, now im checking out the blueprint engine's 383 dress kit. has everything to make it run already installed, just gotta drop it in (i would have the change the computer to go to a carb setup), and i think its about the same price as the zz383. little less hp and torque, but i find that little bit of sacrifice is worth getting a engine tat is a runner
