sick i admire the times your getting out of that 305, but i know you are aware of this that if you put the money you placed into that 305 into a 350, youde be close to 12 seconds. but i do agree no one really ever wants to do up a 305.

 

A few years ago there was a sprint car class for the 305 some guys really had them built up,alcohol fuel injection,high compression they would really run unfortunatly the class was cancelled. Some of the guys still have the engines they cant get near the money they spent on them so they just keep them(I tried to buy one but you could buy a 350 for the same price). Having a competitve 305 is cool and draws some attention but cost vrs cost the 350 is a better deal in my opinion.

 

That is the jist of it. The shorter stroke will allow the engine to wind like crazy witout blowing itself up.

 

I'd like to build mine up, but I've got to be able to beat my bud's 350, so I don't know. It'll all depend on if I can ever get all the info I need. And, I just damn hate my headers... I can't reach my sparkplugs to save the world...
