91 RS V6 3.1 Wont Stay Running.

Default 91 RS V6 3.1 Wont Stay Running.
My 91 drove fine 2 weeks ago then i let it sit while i drove my 77 and when i went to go drive it again it started up but imme. died, so i cranked it again and gave it gas it stayed running. so it will only stay running with foot all way down on gas pedal. what could it be? its related to fuel i would think?

I changed fuel filter on it 1 month ago and checked it a couple days ago it wasnt clogged or bad.

any suggestions would be helpful,

I Can hear the fuel pump kick in when i turn the key someone told me it could be that but i wouldnt be able to hear it engage if it was bad right?
