91 comaro rs 3.1 wont start

Question 91 comaro rs 3.1 wont start

for some reason the car tries to start but wont i was told 3rd gen rs camaros were prone to this can someone offer me any clues to what it might be because this car is going to nickle dime me to death i have changed the fule pump egr valve timing gears and chain whole distributer plugs wires fule rail and injectors knock sensor throttle position sensor checked the compression and checked the timing 3 tmes even whet and bought a timing light to be safe and everything is dead on tried to pull the battery to reset the computer and even after that the check engine light stays on used the pin tool to check the codes and i am still getting the same ones for the tps and low temp oh and i for got to mention this motor was rebuilt from top to bottom with all oem stuff it is the 3.1 v6 also new fuel pump and now no engine code put the pin in the harness and now it wont even give me the 12 code

make sure your fireing order is right (check it twice lol)
fuel pressure should be around 40 psi
make sure you are getting spark to the plugs
if you have good compresson then your timing is right

What has compression got to do with timing??

ok 1 is it turning over 2 is the negative grounded on the block and the firewall 4 starter wire 3 listen to the tank with the gas cap off and listen u can hear a mmmmmmm noise thats the fuel pump if its working compression has alot to do with it sparking needs compression to fire right chech these and repost

If the timing of the crank and cam is not correct, your compression will not be correct. Since he said he has good compression he most have it the timing marks right. I'm not talking about the timing of the distributor if thats what you are thinking
