well got in my car to go to school and my damn car wouldnt start i was like hell so i just took my other camaro anyways got home and checked for spark and it doesnt have any so i guess it the coil or the opti i know my opti been going out because under a load on a low RPM is misses but i would figure it wouldnt just DIE i mean i drove the car home and parked it but i did hit a big puddle but it should of died right there if it got water in it so idk any ideas it a 94


also on a side not my 96 is throwing the code P1661 wtf is that? and it running real rich i think a oxygen sensor went bad on it but i know it not related to that code. There Both Z28s

usually when an opti is about to die or is weak, it will start when its cold, but wont when its warm.P1661 (malfunction indicator lamp fault),could be anything between the ECM and the light bulb. check the harness for shorts to ground, check for continuity, check the bulb and socket.Basically, this code means the PCM detected a fault with the MIL circuit.If there was a fault in the circuit that detects the fault, however, that might cause a "false positive" for this code.If the circuits check out, the factory service manuals say the PCM needs to be replaced (the fault detection circuits are internal to the PCM)...
