Lets see if i can explain this right, i have a 86 iroc z that was tpi with 700r4 well i turned it into carb with a older 350 motor bored 30 over and has a bigger cam in it, so now the question I had to put a stall convertor with my 700r4 and the 700r4 is rebuilt, but still it does what seems like a long shift and when it finally does shift it feels jerky. We unhooked the computer and it seemed to help but started it again?? thanks

 

The only transmission part affected by the computer is the TTC, and that does not affect shift quality. Is the TV cable adjusted properly?

 

Alright, so could only two problems be that the cable is off or transmission got rebuilt badly?
Can you give me and info on how the cable should be set? I knwo its hooked and and seems right liek when you move throttle the cable extendes all way out then back in.

 

Also I have aftermarket shifter in it and where shifter goes there was another cable besides shifter cable, im not sure what its for but its not hooked up.
