some said it couldnt be done, that it was a waste of time
its been in the car now for a year. oil pan rusted over the winter, got stuck driving it in the snow after i tore the heads off my dd. keep blowing out header gaskets too, damn cheap hedman headers. theyre getting yanked for a set of stainless 1 3/4" long tubes and y-pipe that goes around the trans. also getting the fuel pump i need as well as an oil cooler and an extra trans cooler

Let me know if you want to give the cheap headers another shot. There are some tricks you can do to keep the bolts tight and gaskets inplace.
i bought heddman headers, so i knew they would be junk out of the box. flange is paper thin, and i think theyre either 1 1/2 or 1 5/8, which is too small. i even got the copper gaskets and they still started leaking, and the bolts arent loosening. id rather get my stainless 1 3/4" long tubes and get the airflow it needs
havent run it at the truck. was having issues at more than half throttle of it starving for fuel. just ordered a 255 lph fuel pump a few hours ago. given the granny gears in it, im shooting for a 14 flat. might be quicker if i can traction
