Default Engine swap

I just got a 88 camero with a 70's model
350 , theres no room for a breather, i really dont want to put on a scooped hood , any suggestions
????????

What's a CamEro you speak of?

And are you talking about a oil breather?

Haha Camaro
The carb is to close to the hood
Air breather is hitting

How can it be too close? There's a lot of room to work with under there!

Hood clearance problems.....what's that?
Might be you have a high rise intake manifold. What kind do you have? And have you tried a dropped base air cleaner?

seriously look for something like the vortec 5.7 uses only big enough to fit on your carb, then use a cone filter with a CAI setup!

Most of the time, unless its a very high rise manifold it should fit. Verify by removing the carb air cleaner stud and measuring your available hood clearance. I had similar issues on a 3rd gen. After a drop base cleaner that cleared the choke...I was fine.
