Replace the seals.

I should say that is the most common issues. The tops can warp and the car can twist. You can get a one of those contour checks and see how close the top is to the mounting lip without the seal installed but if the seals are more than 15 years old taking them off may be the end of their life. Seal life has a lot of factors. How much was it outside. How hot it gets outside where you live, even a light acid rain from an industrial center. That was more of the 80s and 90's thing. I have even seen cars with the lips under the seals rusted out. Note: all those issues I saw 20 years ago back when the cars where on 15-20 years old.

Default I replaced the seals

I have new seals and drip guards. Very simple project. But still having issues getting the window glass lined up on the rear side. Any suggestions is helpful.
