some local shops have a dye that they put in to find out exactly were your leak is at. Check all the connections...hoses...fittings....

You may want to try shooting in a can of R134a with stop leak & see if it holds, rather than venting the system and needing a whole refill.

i'd say get some dye and crank it up. if there's a leak you'll see the dye leaking out.

The only time I ever needed to use a light was to find a leak on a dodge pick up. I shinned the black light and there was green every where. Even on the side of the engine where there is no a/ c components. Very decieving. The leak turned out to be the evap inside the cab. Where did the other green come from?
Look around all the connections. Special attention around the pump. Near the clutch and around the body. The later GM compressors are good for leaking from the seals in the ends to the main body.
