Default A/C gas leak

hey guys, im trying to fix my ac in my 98 camaro but there is a gas leak somewhere in the system. i have bought the UV leak detector gas and the UV light but i cannot see any leaks anywhere. I have not checked the radiator but i hope the leak is not located there. If anyone has had any experience with this problem please fill me in on how yourepaired it... Thanks

Usualy an easy way to find a leak is to look at the parts for moist and dark dirty areas. The dust on the engine will get moist from the leaking refrigerant.I have seen many of the compressors on later vehicles leak from the seals between the main body and the ends. and a few times the low pressure swicth on the dryer.

Hi the gas moves through the sys with oil so any leak will have oil around it and will be dirt sticking also the hoses will leak but most leaks are the compressure seal which is hard to see .
