Default Who keeps stealing my extra parts?

I put the new carb on the new manifold today and started the dreaded task of hooking up the linkage, fuel lines, etc. I know I have an assortment of throttle brackets, carb studs, hose clamps and fittings laying around from the last time I put an engine in this thing. Of course, the TV cable requires NASA level engineering to install. SO I dig thru my multitude of parts bins and all I find are bags and bags of dirty nuts and bolts. Ive had to make about 5 trips to Poopboys for miscellaneous hardware and a few specialty brackets. (Let me tell you, their selection of aftermarket go-fast parts sucks, but they have plenty of stick on carbon fiber accessories).

So, whoever has all my leftover parts, give em back! Im tired of getting nickle and dimed to death over small parts.

I should be ready to fire her up soon. Wouldnt you know I gotta go on a business trip for 3 weeks! Thats gonna cut into my schedule! DOH!!!

Damn, that sucks about the business trip! Any little stuff you need let me know and there's a small chance I have it.

Nah, the little parts are all fittings....hose ends, clamps, throttle fixtures and return springs. Little stuff that only costs 5 bucks a pop but they add up over time. I have bags full of stuff that never fit right or were only used for a while but for the life of me they were stolen by some horrible spirit.

That friggen throttle bracket threw me for a loop. I had to cut it and weld it about 4 times before I got it right. I also had to weld a new alternator bracket......it seems the standard SBC model wont fit a vortec manifold. About 3/8 too short. Kind of a scam if you ask me. I really think GM changed the bolt pattern on the vortec heads/intake just to make money.....

Well, I am like a reverse Santa Claus, and go around in the dark of night, break into peoples garages, and steal little car parts. I then clean them up and resell them as new to parts distributors. There is not much money to be made in this line of work, but there is great satisfaction watching a person go nuts trying to find where the pilfered parts disappeared to. lol
