I've always been a stick-shift kinda guy. But my '91 Camaro RS is an automatic. I'd like to know if anybody has done a tranny swap and what would go into it. I really don't know anything about transmissions, so I can only begin to imagine what a hassle it would be. Is it worth it?

If I do go this route, I don't even know what transmission I would throw into it. It would have to hold up to about 350-400 HP. Any suggestions would be much appreciated...

 

for that kind of horspower i wou either go with a muncie fourspeed or the t-56 route. either route is going to take some work. and fabrication i believe
