Well, that depends on what the something is? What's she doing, or not doing?

well heres the deal. i just bought a 92 rs with a 305 tbi. ive been asking questions about whether to go with a carb. swap or stick with the tbi. the tbi is not very good. the bore sizes, where the fuel comes in, are very small with the stock tbi intake manifold. so you have one of two choices, you could switch over to carb. where you would have to get a new carb. intake for about $170, a new carb. for about $400, and also you would have to get it hooked up to some computer software that reprograms the computer in your car. you may be asking yourself well is this all worth it, well thats up to you itll probly be around a grand by the time you got it switched over, but the horsepower gain are much more substasial than sticking with tbi. what i ending up doing is getting a new edelbrock tbi intake for about $230 and a new tbi throttle body for about $300. these mods will obviously help much just not as much as switching over to carb.

What is happening with the car?

While a Carb swap might be simple, it's definitely not going to increase performance all that much without a cam/headswap.

TPI is fairly easy to maintain, it's a rather basic setup and not really hard to troubleshoot.

TPI is one of the more popular swaps to change to FROM a carb. keep the TPI, doing a reverse swap would make no sense, not to me anyway. If you do change to carb, ill gladly buy your TPI system off your car

the car won't start i think the injecotrs are cloggled or something it will turn over but won't start unless you shoot starter fluid in the throttle body. nj85z28 if i do deciede to sell the tpi what is a fair price for it?

well not running condition, 100-200 MAYBE. but ill tell you straight forward, cars with TPI are way more desired than non TPI cars, for the simple fact that adding any sort of EFI costs several thousand dollars.
