Default stripped steering wheel bolt

I have a 1985 chevy camaro z28 and the center bolt that holds the steering wheel on is now stripped. some of the threads are bent and messed up. the bolt looks like a regular bolt but it also has teeth on it to that slid into the steering wheel. My question is can i replace that bolt? and if so what is that part called and if not then what do i do because the nut acts like it is threading on and then it pops off.

if its a tilt column then that bolt is actually a part of the ball socket that connects about a 1/4 of the way down the column(right where it pivots), you would need that whole piece from another camaro, something that may be easier would be to buy a new*used* column and replace the whole thing

you can find write ups for dissasembling the third gen steering column, if you want i can PM you the link
