Default 82 Camaro Pricing

I was wondering around how much an 82 camaro would be worth.
I'll have to check the mileage but in general it is pretty well used, no major problems, it seems to run fine. It's also a T-top camaro. I am pretty new to cars in general and this is actually my dad's but I thought I would like to learn a little bit about how much it might be worth before he tries to sell it.

I'll have to get back with more info.

...And pictures to see it's condition. Is your user name a hint that it's a Pace Car? That makes a difference too.

Default Pictures are up

Yes, it is a pace car. More info on the way. I think my dad said the engine and exhaust system have been replaced, but I will have more details once he finds his book with all the maintenance done.

Also, I tried to show pictures of all the wear and tear as well. Any other pictures you think I should put up?

That car is in nice shape. Much of the price depends on where you live. Here in Upstate NY (rust capitol of the world) cars dont last real long, rust free bodies bring a premium. That being said...Camaros are everywhere. I would expect that car to be stickered at 4000 bucks, and to sell for somewhere between 3200-3800. Again, much of it depends on location.

Not 100% sure but i think it might be the original motor, the pace cars came with the cross-fire injection (unless the same type of engine was put in). but i agree with DK $2500

Like I said, location can really command an extra 500-1000 bucks for a nice, older, non rusted car. Rolling shells routinely fetch 1000 bucks up here if they arent molested.

Yeah, to agree with above, it looks like it has the original crossfire injection....which would lead me to believe that its the original engine. Not that a well maintained crossfire is a bad thing, but it certainly doesnt add to the value, and you can also assume the engine has never been 'freshend up' or rebuilt. (The first thing to get removed from these cars during an upgrade is that injection system)
