Check for a vacuum leak.

yea check for vacuum lines make sure they are all connected in the right places especially on your intake manifold and not sure if you got carb or tbi or what but make sure you lines are hook on there. Check your computer codes for possible defects to other sensors. Also change your fuel pump out it might be defective. I have a inline pump but if you still have your stock pump then I suggest you get a nice performance pump, its worth it. I had the same bogging problem you had. I couldnt go anywhere until the car warmed up and even then the car still bogged. I would press the gas and it like didnt want to go anywhere but if i held it long enough it would go. Unlike yours mine smoked white but not anymore. Anyway, thought that might help, if your situation is not the same then disregard. Also have you done a tune up on it and changed your IAC and TPS?that would help out too sometimes.
