Had to replace the starter on a 1991 RS it was a little tight and your best to get the car up in the air as high as you can. You may also want to have the new starter already when you pull the old one off. I believe you also have to take the plastic cover off the front of the trans. Got mine for about $50. Make sure you get one with lifetime warranty.

 

its easy i saw my mechanic do it just make sure u remember how it goes in cuz when u take the old one out u wont kno how it goes in
