Default Random fuel gauge + Hard Starts = Bad Fuel pump?

Ok My fuel Gauge seems to read random things like the day after i fill it it will say its empty for about 20-30 minutes or other things like that and the starting is just it has to crank for about 7-9 seconds before it'll sputter to life I was told that my fuel pump is dieing or what and if it is how hard is it to change it? Thanks

if it's your fuel pump. you need to drop the rear axle all the way on the ground. remove your exhaust and heat shield's then fuel line's then the tank can come out. just don't break the sending unit it's expensive to replace.

Gas gage has nothing to do with the fuel pump. I would check the fuel filter and fuelpressure first. The fuel pump is the last thing I would look at replacing.
