how hard is it to install an intake fuel pump?

fuel pump that goes in the gas tank... not on the out side

its a in tank pump and its not fun. to do it as recomended by gm you have to take the exhaust off and drop the rearend to get the fuel tank out. you can make a hatch or hole and take it out that way and is easier.

is that way through the trunk of the car? you can change it with out droping the tank?

yes you can change it without dropping the tank and yes that's from the hatch area. pull the carpet, cut where it says to cut, pull the fuel pump, put the new one in, put the carpet back, and call it good lol

need to make a cover for the hole, screw it down and seal it back up. dont want to be huffin exhaust.
