I have the same exact rims, how ever mine has paint spots on all 4 rims,... how i dont know. i got it from a buddy of mine for a project car, but if the rims were cleaned up it'd look nice. any help on what would remove it would be nice. there the aluminums.

Did you try a very fine steel wire brush/attachment for a grinder? the red paint faded on my stk. rims and use some to get the faded red which = pink paint off my rims. i actually cleaned the whole rim repainted them blk and re-clear coated them. they look pretty good.
