Default OK, whats this gonna cost me?

Some of you might remember my former posting about my ghetto rigged TH350 transmission. (Short story-somebody 'retrofitted' a th350 in my 82 Z28....) Well, the tranny leaks about 1/8 quart a day, and Its NOT coming from the tranny pan or input lines. So, Its gotta get it dropped and have some new seals thrown in it. What do you think a shop will charge me to drop the tranny, raplace input seal and throw it all together? (dont need a full rebuild)

Please, warn me if I should be sitting down.....

I don't no how much that will cost, but depending on where you live you could just pick up a rebuilt tranny out of the newspaper for like $200. Theres like 7 TH350 in wichta that are all newly rebuilt for under $250.

Average cost no matter where you live is about $300/400 +. I spent $375 to replace the front seal on my 700R4.
