1991 camaro z28. There's noise coming from the front of my car when I hit the gas and Start movng. When I take my foot off the gas and the car still moves the noise goes away. It's like a whirl sound that gets faster as the car goes faster then when I let off the gas it goes away.it.sounds as if the noise is coming from the engine area. What could this be Thanks for the help

is the noise dependent on engine speed? might be an accessory item is going bad. a water pump can make a whir until it totally fails. take it to a shop if you can't fix it yourself

 

Check your alternator.
