I just got a 92 RS that my uncles nephew caught the throttle body on fire pouring gas down it because it wouldnt start, now i replaced the throttle body and the injector wires that were melted and went to start it and nothing.....theres power every where except to the starter and it flashes security 2-3 times when you first try and turn the key over.any ideas im stumped, ive never owned a camaro before, just VW's but i am mechanically inclined im just an a loss with this issue

 

When i had that problem i just disconnected the alarm under the dash and the car started right up. I would check that first. If you disconnect it and the car starts one of your alarm relays is fried.

 

Check your fuses and maybe wipe the resistor in the key clean. maybe there are more melted wires
