T-5 fluid??

what type of fluid should i put in the T-5 im swappin into my car?
i've heard 3 things.
Gear Oil
Dex-3 ATF
and motor oil

Gear oil is good for manual transmissions.

My factory owners manual says dextron II (but you may not find that in stores its like III or IV maybe V now.) for the 5 speed and 5w30 trans oil for the Corvette 6 speed

I used ATF and never had any issues.

i would strongly suggest putting dex 3 atf in the transmission. thats what it came with from the factory and its obviously in there for a reason.

Like I said. The manual says Dex II (which was the one out at the time) Its not my opinion its what the manual says
