ive had a holeshot im my truck before. worked ok. nothing like the one i have now. it seems to run free/slip more when not locked up than the b&m did. i have a different trany (built) to though so im sure thats got something to do with that.

If I have the shifter in 3rd gear in my Vette (700R4), the engine will "free idle" when I get off the gas. Then give it gas again and rpm's jump back up to where they're supposed to be before she grabs again. Is that what yours does? I know it ain't right for mine, just not sure if its the trans or t.c.

it does that to, i think its the tc not locking. as i throttle up it slips a little more than stock untill the rpms get up or i push the peddle more. . if its wot it pulls great.

mine does the same thing. at least in my blazer it will hold back until 45, then the revs stick around 1500 (however the revs are at 1500 if i put it in nuetral). but, when i used to drive this car with the 305, if i let off on an off ramp, the engine would stall, everytime.

also, i got the new throttle bracket on and readjusted the tv cable. it seems to be shifting good now. 1 through 3 are normal, 4th will come in around 55. still no tcc, so ill fiddle with the wiring sometime this week

For the tcc, you'll need to take care of your "no speed sensor signal" issue.

and that requires me getting a new dash harness and gauge cluster simply to use gauges that are inaccurate. i only run the stock speedo, and thats just until i get a full set of matching gauges. i think a switch will suffice for me
