Could be the guy rebuilding it...

 

i rebuilt the holley 600. i did a very good job but the accel pump is bad and it didnt come with one in the kit. thats why it didnt work. plus i had the wrong gasket in the manifold so it leaked.

yeah good job. i even glass beated all the parts on it and acid bathed it. made all the proper adjustments and buffed all the surfaces befor putting on gaskets. im getting a new accel pump for it from holley because i cant buy it anywhere around here. then im getting a vaccum advance distributor for it so itll run properly.
