Lol
I have a spare set of keys that I always keep in my wallet because the first 2 days I had my car I locked them into it like 6 times because there is no "Dinger" to let me know that the keys were in the ignition still
Lol

Little late to help you now, but I stopped at a gas station in upstate NY, and left the key in the ignition & accidentaly locked my dog in the car. Gas station attendant made a call to the NY Stape Police, and within 15 mins a state trooper showed up with slim jim kit, and unlocked my Camaro in less than 5 minutes, with absolutely no damage. The only time I was glad to have a state trooper mess with my car. LOL

No charge from the State Police, but I offered the cop a cup of coffe from the convenience store, but he declined the offer. Got a cup for myself and found out why the trooper did not want any. LOL

Funny you asked that. The dog knows how to open the house door to let herself out, but she didn't even try to open the car door. I tried to teach her, but she has absolutely no interest in learning.

It also makes it a ton easier if you have something to wedge in between the window, that way you have some space to move the hanger easily and you might even be able to see what you're hooking for.

That's a pretty good idea. I think I'll ad a thin wedge of wood to my car tool kit to go with my slimjim next time I'm in a woodworking shop. And yes, I know it sounds stupid to have a slimjim in the car. I've used it on other peoples cars about 10 times, though, and they ussually give me a few dollars for the trouble.
