I want to know if there is any cost friendly ways I can make my car go faster. I have a tourqe kit that I am eventully going to put on the car, but I wanted to know if there is anything else that i could put into or on the car that will give it more horses....

Well I have edelbrock headers and flow master exhaust on my 85 z28 5.0. It seems to be a little peppier then before. As far as cost friendly inorder to give her more get up and go you'll need to spend a little money. In all honestly I'd recommend swapping out the engine for a 350. That's my plans for the future.

How cost friendly are you looking to be? You can ditch the rear seat, the A/C unit, the air pump if you're not emissions controlled, and get headers and exhaust for pretty cheap. If you want to keep it more civil, you can still go with headers and exhaust while still ditching the air pump. When you get your new exhaust, get a good highflow cat. The cats that GM put on these cars were garbage. Now they're old garbage. The cat from my stock Honda Accord flows more than a stock Camaro cat. A modern high flow cat is almost like having no cat. You still have some back pressure, but you get th raw flow that you need.
