Hello, just signed on to Camaro Forum, so I have a lot to catch up on here.


I own a 1988 IROCZ 5.7L TPI from day one when we left the dealer east of Richmond Virginia, in May of 1988. It is a southern car, only salt its been exposed to was trips to the beach, I now drive it around Houston, Texas.


260,000+ miles latter (the speedometer cable broke twice so not sure actual miles), it needs and deserves some updating. Two of the cylinders are losing compression, so I joined the forum to get some insights on options for bringing the car back to be a reliable daily driver again.


I am late, but it was worth the wait.
