im swaping my 3.1 to 305
ive got everything that i can think of i got the v8 the 350 trans with shift kit and a 2800 stall steel motor mounts (to motor and frame)
i really dont know much about the fuel pump i have the electric fuel pump everybody say that i dont have to remove it just put a fuel reg. on the line
if any suggestins would be helpful

I agree, Id rethink your swap and do a 350...they're essentially the same motor and a 350 can be had fairly cheap most of the time. Its a very common motor which will yield more power. A 350 will take a lot more than you think to make it something not streetable, so you should be safe in that department. Im pulling my 350TPI to swap in an HSR'd 406 sometime soon. I just couldnt see someone swapping in a 305. Im not trying to knock you or your plans, I just feel youd be happier with a 350.
Ditto on the 350 thing. My 305 has some work, (carb, intake, headers, dual exhaust) and Im very dissapointed with its performance. Im currently saving for a 350. Beg, borror or steal and get yourself a 350. If you put that 305 in, you will want to swap it out in a few months....
the 350 is a poor mans engine. parts are cheap and its easier to make horsepower than with a 305. if you have a few bucks and want to make a statement ... blow their *** off the road with a 305. they will hate your guts and you will love every minute of it. LMAO. Sick
