Default i have a lead on an 87 z28 couple questions

which size engine is in it and what kind of gas mileage would i be looking at.

nevermind the engine size. now i know it has the 350. but what mileage would i be looking at?

Depends on your right foot, and what kind of driving you'll be doing. It's rated at 15/24, in any case. I put about 340 km (211 mi) a week onto my 305 and pay roughly $55/week, but keep in mind I pay CAD$1.39/litre (US$4.92/gal)

yea it all really depends on your habits. you can get mid teens and low 20's fairly easy

i think im more than likely going to take it even though what i was going for was a 98 or 99 z28. it has the 350 and im kinda wondering just how much thats going to suck on gas. i know my friend has a 99 z28 and is averaging about 17 city but i get the feeling i wont get that with the 350

well its over 20 years old now. you could rebuild it, and tune up everything and it would do better. but it is getting worn out just from age.

ok so i think the guy is confused about which engine is in it. he says its the 350 5.0 carburator. but im thinking he means the 305. but he is bringing it over here soon and ill find out.

lol yeah its a plane ol 305. ill be fine with that. i dont need too much power right now. just something to start with.
