Default hood alignment?

how hard is it to close everyone else's hood. mine i need to push down with more force than im used to using to close a hood with. is this normal? or do i still have an alignment issue?

Mine is easy. But they do have that spring which might make it seem harder than others without one. I never push on a hood to close them. They will dent. Hold it up about a foot or two and just give it a little push as its on the way down. If that does not close it make sure the latch is not having to pull it to one side. Maybe adjust it up a bit and/or move the rubber stoppers.

Mine is very slightly bent from some idiot in a parking lot, (not even really noticeable) but it is more difficult to close it than it should be, and usually sounds like I'm slamming it shut when I do.

Although, the hood hydraulics are also a factor- it won't close all the way on just its own weight.

Ehh, whatever~

"chome wheels I'm not fond of....Fiberglass hood flew off..."
That is pretty specific. Might even be TMI
