Some of you might know me from the mustangforums as well.... well im turning to the dark side and shoudl be purchasing an 88 camaro with a 355 in it....

outside on it is a litte rough and needs some rust taken off and a paint job... interior is ok but needs a few things....

money is in the drivetrain... 3.27 posi rear(50k miles)... 350 auto tranny with wratchet shifter(just rebuilt).. 355(about 60k miles) and theres only gunna need about 500 worth of little things to make the drivetrain perfect.. and they are not things that need to be done right away....

and im getting it for 2.5k or so..... hopefully...

any opinions? ill let you guys know when and if i get it

 

sounds like a good buy. i'd def change the rear to a 3.55:1 or a 3.73:1 Posi

well, u see, i like to race everything i buy. the camaro will be down the track sooner or later, i raced my monte when i had it running, and my mazda which is my daily driver i raced. Its really easy for me to start naming parts that will make u faster...

 

oo i know u could name parts that could make me faster.... but im not worried.... its fast enough as it is... i just need to resore the rest of it to a resonable level of what i want it at....

as is i do not have to worry about much beating me on the road..... ... but i need to do my project how I want and do what i need to do....


btw naming go fast parts for any car isnt that hard...... once i reach that point of adding more to it... ill let you know so u can help me out... until then its more or less a cleanup and shape up job on interior and exterior... and a few engine things.....

ill get some pics up when i buy it... hopefully this weekend...
