Just bought a 92 bird w/ a 3.1 auto...

I'm not looking to do a swap yet, maybe this winter, but I was wondering what exactly needs to be done...specifically the trans...

it has the 700r4, can I just get a V8 bellhousing to put on the trans as is? or is it not that simple?

I would do a pre-79 engine, so I wouldn't use a computer at all...

V8 bellhousing
Suspension
motor mounts
cowl hood (would use a aftermarket intake man.)

anything else?
