New to camaro scene have a few questions.
Hello all my names nick i am new to the camaro scene but not the car scene. I have a 1990 mustang with a 347 stroker and a ponydown 76mm turbo kit to much to list but it is just a trailer queen. So i wanted to get another car that had a little ***** to it for a solid weekend crusier. So i bought a 2002 Camaro SS and it is just not enough. So my questions are does anyone how restrictive these heads are? What are the valve springs good to for lift? How restrictive is the stock manifold? What are the specs of the stock cam? What size are the valves? Where the heck can a guy get a good flowing H-Pipe to get rid of this y-pipe crud? Sorry about the long post this is the first chevy for myself i have always just had fords so dont know much about these. Also what is this block good to for power. Thanks anything helps.
if stock you should be able to gain about 30 hp changing the exhaust and intake. do some reading on the forum. i was kinda lost with the lt1 so i spent three days reading here before i made a post. over the last yr i have learned more than i need. lol. not well versed on the ls1 specs or i would happily help out.
