I've recently aquired a 98 Camaro V6, it runs and looks good. However, there are some problems with it: The keyless entry doesn't work (i've tried to resync it as the manual tells, nothing. Battery is good.), the fog lights don't work (not the relay, swapped it with the horn relay, nothing.) So if anybody could lend me some advice as to what could be wrong... that'd be great.

Also, the plastic ring that clips the shift boot in place is broken... where could i get one?

 

Maybe there's a fuse blown? Are you sure the bulbs are good?

I agree with the fuses. Had the same problem with my 98
