Default Gas Leak

Hey does anyone else get a gas leak out of the gas cap area? It seems like everytime i go to fill up and get a full tank by the time i get home gas splashed out onto the side of my car... i have a gas cap and gas cover door and everything... i just notice that and wondered if someone else or everybody is having the same problem and what the fix for it would be.

sounds like you over filled the tank, the only time its ever happened to me is when i over fill. you know how your pumping gas and the pump stops for you and then you keep going.

my gas cap is new... its one of those locker gas caps... the neck might be broken i'll have to check but what would be wrong with the evap?

There is a black, round evap canister under the hood with a filter in it. It may be plugged. Try to blow air through the line labeled "tank". If the neck was broke chances are it would leak behind the quarter panel.
