The blower was just an idea, kicking tires so to speak.

My new project arrives tonight....a Bradley GT kit car. 40 HP of pure German Muscle! (for 500 bucks I couldnt pass on this winter project)
So it's a Vortec. Is that high 300's at the wheels I'm assuming.

It all depends on your budget and your tolerance for a lopey cam. You will need more cam, perhaps stroke it...., and more head at this piont. I think you're about the limit of what the vortecs can do. They're a great head, but may be time to consider an upgrade.

There's a lot of options to get it up in HP, depends on what you're willing to do and what you're willing to spend. A blower would do it, but I fear for your internals...

The Vortecs were my most recent upgrade. Im happy enough with them that Im not going to tear it down again, not for a while at least. The biggest problem I ran into with the Vortecs is they can only take about .480 lift without serious machining of the heads. I thought the Vortecs were a nice simple bolt on procedure, I was horribly mistaken. My main goal was to build it on a budget, I did, but in the long run, next time Ill spring for a set of nice aftermarket heads.

And the guy who was supposed to deliver the Bradley to me tonight seems to have gone awol! Grrrrr! Glad I havnt paid for it yet.
